Andy is a resident of Eastrop and Grove and is no stranger to public service in his community. He has been a governor at QMC and at Kings Furlong Infants School and used his bookkeeping skills for Fluid Motion a local mental health charity.

Like most people in Basingstoke Andy is fed up with the state of the government and its plague of scandals whether that’s ‘partygate’, expenses, or jobs for pals. Now more than ever, with a rampaging cost of living crisis and war in Ukraine we need a Labour government and a Labour council locally. In Basingstoke and Deane there is constant concern over the amount of money paid out to expensive consultants and for outsourcing. At the same time, our services get worse. We need proper scrutiny and can only do that by returning a Labour council.
