The Government is proposing new legislation to change planning laws which could mean the Camrose could be developed and the Council could be powerless to stop it.
This legislation might mean planning permission would be virtually automatic if land is earmarked for development in the Local Plan. We need to get the Camrose Ground removed from the Local Plan.
To do that we need to put pressure on local councillors by writing or emailing them asking them to help get the Camrose site removed from the Local Plan.
You can also contact Councillor Mark Ruffell who is the Cabinet Member for Planning, Infrastructure and Natural Environment and in charge of the Local Plan. Ask him ask him to commit to removing the Camrose from the Local Plan.
