David Bell
Hatch Warren and Beggarwood

Basingstoke resident David is a successful entrepreneur and consultant with substantial experience in helping organisations to manage tight budgets while maintaining and improving outcomes.
If elected his skills will be an asset in the face of continuing government cuts to local authority spending. In his spare time, he is a trustee of StreetDoctors – a charity that teaches lifesaving skills to young people at risk of youth violence across the UK.
David has 3 generations of family, including grandchildren, living in Basingstoke and he is passionate about making sure that society provides the firm foundations for young people to succeed, have good quality jobs, and access to affordable homes.
He is concerned about the amount of additional development in the area putting a squeeze on local infrastructure such as our schools and roads, and the impact that will have on the environment, ancient woodland, green spaces, and traffic.
It’s hard to see where schools and places will come from and it’s clear our water and waste infrastructure can’t cope.
