Petition – return a Post Office to Abbey Road

The Abbey Road post office closed temporarily in October 2018 and still hasn’t reopened.

The new tenants who run the Abbey Road convenience store and pharmacy have bought the shop. They applied last December to be licenced to reopen this much needed and used Post Office. Months later, they are still awaiting confirmation.

As your local councillors, we feel that Abbey Road needs a Post Office. Residents have told us they valued and used the service. We are asking residents to sign our petition below to demand that we get a post office back on Abbey Road as soon as possible.
