Basingstoke Labour stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine against Putin’s aggression

Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine at this terrible time. The pain and trauma of war and the damage it does to communities is truly terrible. Our hearts go out to all those families separated and uprooted and we hope this nightmare is over for them soon.

We urge everyone to support all our Basingstoke Eastern European residents at this worrying time, and in particular not to engage in hate speech or other actions to our Russian residents. This war is not in their name and not their fault.
