Is this the end of the free older persons bus pass?

The latest round of local #Tory council cuts being proposed and consulted on starting today. We are gathering views, so please do let us know. Here are the “headlines”:

1) To switch off street lights for part of the night on residential streets

2) Making cuts to the following local bus routes – No 4 Basingstoke to Chineham, No 12 -Hatch Warren to Basingstoke, No 14 / 15 14 Basingstoke to Tadley and 15
Basingstoke to South View, No 74 – Overton Local Service, No76 – Andover to Basingstoke and C41 Basingstoke to Alresford

3) The introduction of a 50p charge for single
journeys made using an Older Person’s Concessionary Bus Pass on public bus services
