Labour Saved the No. 12 Bus
In Brighton Hill residents were being threatened with the loss of a vital service because of Conservative County Council cuts. We knew that for many residents, their local bus is a lifeline.
That’s why local Labour Councillors and party members opposed the cuts and campaigned to save the bus. Over 800 Brighton Hill residents signed the petition urging the County Council not to axe the service.
Councillor Mike Westbrook Leader of the Labour opposition at Hampshire County Council handed the petition in for use. The results were brilliant.
We won.
